Hi all, I have been using Becky (2.73) to access my office365 e-mail (pop3)

I can send e-mail but recently I get the following message when trying to download my e-mail

"RETR 1
-ERR Message corrupted
QUIT

+OK Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 POP3 server signing off."

I setup microsoft outlook for a POP3 sever and it is able to download the e-mail.

Any ideas on how to get Becky to download my e-mail.

Thanks in advance.

Use remote mailbox to see list of messages then manually download them
one by one till it burps... that is the message to delete on the server
again by remote mailbox... then you can exit remote and get mail should
work for remainder.

I think, she wanted to DOWNLOAD the mail and not DELETE. When Outlook is able to download
it, then Becky should do that too.

When changing buffer size and timeout (and others?) on a clean Windows/Becky-installation
doesn't help, then Becky should be improved... my opinion.

I think a he (Mark Price).
I was giving a solution.... if the message is corrupted are you sure it
is downloaded by Outlook? Outlook may just ignore and move on.. ;)

The only message to be deleted is the corrupt one..... which may or may
not be in Outlook. It would be interesting to know if it was...
Here is what he should do:
open remote and hit spacebar to view content of the message. If corrupt
he should not see the message content...
He can download all others by dragging them to a folder like Inbox...
though why do that as the corrupt will still be there causing the
problem.

Let's not forget that Becky meets the standards and MSoft/Outlook tends
to be non standard.
Just because Outlook does something does not make it right!

Right.

Also right, but: there is a lot of mail software around and many of
them produces errors. A good client should be tolerant. It's better to
load a corrupt mail and correct it or for example save it as dump and
inform the user than to stop loading the mail with such a message as
written.

I guess, we have different points of view. your: Becky makes all
correctly. mine: it's possible, that Becky has potential for
improvement.
But in this case maybe another setting helps.
